MICRONESIAN LIFE MINISTRIES was founded by Herb and Jan Schneider who are happy to be assigned by the Lord Jesus Christ to go into the Pacific Island nations and teach His infallible Word, which is transforming lives and changing Pacific Island nations.

Birthed in 1985 as an outgrowth of a hospital ministry to Micronesians who came to Hawaii for medical treatment. Herb began sharing God's Word on healing with patients. Many received miraculous healings and returned to their home islands
For 13 years God opened the door for Herb and Jan to move to Kwajalein, The Marshall Islands. While there they ministered to many of the surrounding Islands. God has called and anointed them to encourage and build up the body of Christ throughout the Pacific Island nations with the Word of Faith – Romans 10:6-13.
Since 2003, God has opened doors for them to hold 3-5 week mission crusades throughout the islands of Micronesia, and the South Pacific. Returning year after year to these islands, they have reached 1,000s upon 1,000s of people in churches, Bible schools, homes, hotels, hospitals, prisons and open-air meetings
June 2025 Christmas Island Report
God has brought to pass what He told Herb when he was 5 years old, that he would fly planes, and preach His Word in the Pacific Islands. His heart was very tender to the things of God as a child, but he didn’t get born again until after college.
In 1967, when flying in the Navy from Hawaii to Canton Island, and he over-flew Christmas Island – an unusual-looking atoll, never imagining that 58 years later, God would send him to minister His Word there.
Herb and Jan have flown from Hawaii to Fiji since 2006, and every year, stopping to refuel at Christmas Island. For many years, God laid on Herb’s heart to preach there, and last November He opened the door. In June, he completed a 1 week crusade ministering every night together with a Gilbertese pastor friend.
The Assembly of God Pastor set up all the meetings, and each night about 100 people attended ready to hear and receive the anointed Word of God. Many more came on Sunday as others joined from other denominations in surrounding villages.
To God be all the glory for what He accomplished. Beginning the first night, there was so much joy and the love of God manifested. Most of the people wanted prayer for healing, and one after another they confirmed the pain was gone, and they could do things they couldn’t do before. This caused the joy of the Lord to fill the atmosphere and all the people began to dance, shout, and praise the Lord, and march around the church. WOW! BAAL-PERAZIM – the Lord of the breakthrough showed up, and the people went home after midnight just praising the Lord.
One night Herb ministered on the importance of forgiving, and was amazed when most of the people responded and came forward for prayer. Praise God as they left free, and are now able to move forward with the Blessing of the Lord upon their lives.
They also met in the hotel, and later in a house where 2 girls were delivered from demonic oppression. It was a week of joy unspeakable and full of glory!
